Reciprocating compressor Piston head is composed of high strength structural body、precise machining ring groove system、stable guided load-carrying design and reliable piston rod connection method.Its main function is to carry out reciprocating motion inside of gas cylinder,changing gas cylinder working volume and then return stroke creates suction conditions and increases cylinder pressure during compression, compressing gas and pushing exhaust process.
Load-bearing & Sealing system
Cylinder rod end directly withstands the axial force generated by the high-pressure gas in the cylinder,and transmits this force through the connecting structure to the piston rod - crosshead - crankshaft mechanism while it also bears the alternating loads caused by the reciprocating inertia force.Through installing piston ring and forming a sealing pair with the cylinder liner or cylinder wall of Piston Rod body,it could reduce leakage from the high-voltage side to the low-voltage side,improve volume efficiency and control leakage and temperature rises.

Lubrication, Heat Dissipation & Energy Conversion
The structure of Piston rod terminal can be used to distribute lubricating oil throughout the structure and dissipate frictional heat (some designs incorporate cooling features, oil reservoirs, or oil-guiding structures),so that reduce girdle temperature rise and decrease coking and abnormal wear.Piston rod end converts gas pressure into mechanical output,while the rings provide sealing and guidance to ensure efficient, smooth, and durable compression.

Guide rings distribute load evenly, reducing the risk of uneven wear, scoring, and cylinder scoring. Tailored material, heat treatment, and wear-resistant surface solutions are provided for different media, temperatures, and lubrication methods, enhancing fatigue resistance, impact resistance,and wear stability.
Packaging & Shipping
Comprehensive process quality control and traceable delivery (including material, heat treatment, critical dimension reports, and necessary non-destructive/functional verification) ensure batch consistency and predictability for on-site maintenance.In terms of surface and precision protection, we implement targeted protection for critical machined surfaces and mating surfaces.For example,before packaging,cleaning, rustproofing, and sealing all exposed metal surfaces prior to packaging. Multiple protective measures—such as rust-preventive oil, rust-proof paper, or rust-proof film—are employed to prevent corrosion risks caused by moisture, salt spray, and temperature fluctuations.Critical sealing surfaces, ring grooves, and reference surfaces are protected with isolation shields to prevent scratches and impacts during transportation, ensuring they can be assembled directly upon arrival without requiring secondary repairs.
