Its strength, stiffness, surface quality, and fatigue performance directly determine the compressor's operational stability, safety, and service life. As a core component in reciprocating compressors with extremely high manufacturing quality requirements, the piston rod typically adopts an integral high-strength round shaft structure. One end is securely connected to the piston head, while the other end links to the crosshead or connecting rod mechanism. It traverses the stuffing box area and is subject to stringent requirements in terms of integral machining and precision control.

Critical reference surfaces are established in a single setup, combining multi-process precision machining with straightening.Strict control is maintained over straightness, roundness, and coaxiality.To ensure the piston rod maintains stable axial precision during high-speed reciprocating motion, significantly reducing the risk of off-center loading and abnormal packing wear.The packing system forms a sealing fit, primarily serving to transmit axial loads, ensure motion accuracy, and complement the sealing system.
