Production Discription
The Coal Mine Rotary Drum Screen Cylinder is the core load-bearing and screening component of the entire machine, directly impacting the equipment's structural strength, operational stability, and screening efficiency. The cylinder is typically fabricated by rolling and welding thick-walled steel plates, offering excellent rigidity and impact resistance. This enables it to withstand long-term continuous operation, high loads, and dusty environments under coal mine working conditions.
Machinery Processing
(1)Cylinder Welding
The rotary separator shell is formed by rolling high-quality steel plates and then undergoes integral welding. By applying appropriate welding sequences and process controls, welding deformation is effectively minimized. This ensures the structural strength and roundness of the cylinder, providing a stable foundation for subsequent precision machining.
(2)Cylinder Turning
After welding is completed, the entire rotary drum is mounted on a lathe for precision turning. Machining operations are performed on the end faces, outer diameter, and key mating surfaces to ensure dimensional accuracy, roundness, and coaxiality of the cylinder, meeting both assembly and operational requirements.
(3)Cylinder Sandblasting
The drum shell surface undergoes sandblasting treatment to thoroughly remove welding slag, oxide scale, and surface contaminants. This process enhances surface cleanliness and roughness, creating optimal conditions for subsequent anti-corrosion coating.
(4)Internal Support Beam Welding of the Cylinder
Reinforcing support beams are welded inside the cylinder to enhance its overall rigidity and deformation resistance, ensuring structural stability and reliability under prolonged operation and material impact conditions.
(5)Two-Section Cylinder Assembly and Alignment
The cylinder adopts a segmented design, requiring the assembly of two sections. This process focuses on controlling the axial alignment of both sections. Through specialized tooling and measurement methods, overall coaxiality and straightness are ensured, preventing vibration and abnormal wear during operation.
Quality Inspection
1,Infrared Inspection of Internal Embedded Structure Straightness in the Cylinder
Infrared inspection equipment is employed to measure the straightness of the internal embedded structure and the overall axis of the cylinder, ensuring that its geometric accuracy along the longitudinal direction meets design specifications.
2,Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Ultrasonic non-destructive testing is conducted on cylinder welds and key load-bearing areas to promptly identify internal defects, ensuring welding quality and structural safety.
3,Runout Tolerance Inspection
Runout testing is performed on the rotating sections of the cylinder, with strict control over radial and axial runout to ensure smooth and low-vibration operation of the Rotary Drum Screen.
4,Coaxiality Inspection
Coaxiality testing is conducted on both the overall cylinder and its assembled components to ensure stable power transmission, thereby extending the service life of bearings and drive parts.
Packaging & Shipping
Upon completion of all machining and inspection processes, the rotary drum proceeds to the packing and shipping phase. Based on its dimensions, weight, and transportation distance, a tailored packing plan is developed to ensure the product remains secure during transport, handling, and on-site storage.
Anti-rust treatment is applied to the cylinder surface and key machined areas. Critical mating surfaces receive enhanced protection, including rust-preventive oil, protective film, and specialized wrapping materials. For extra-long or large-diameter cylinders, a segmented packing method may be employed, supplemented by dedicated supports and reinforcement structures to effectively prevent deformation and impact damage during transit.
Throughout the packing process, both sea and land transport conditions are carefully considered. Lifting points and load-bearing supports are strategically arranged to ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading. All packing solutions adhere to the principles of "preserving machining accuracy, minimizing transportation risks, and facilitating on-site installation," thereby delivering reliable and secure protection to our customers.

A reciprocating compressor is a critical industrial machine that converts mechanical energy into gas pressure energy. It is widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, food and pharmaceuticals, electronics and semiconductors, and hydrogen energy. In March 2026, a Chinese manufacturer successfully achieved mass production of a Class 0 oil-free reciprocating compressor, breaking the long-standing monopoly of overseas companies in high-end oil-free sealing technologies.
As industrial digitalization and intelligent transformation accelerate, the reciprocating compressor, as a core piece of equipment in industrial production, has become a key focus for enterprises seeking higher operational efficiency and improved system reliability.
A steam turbine is the core power equipment that converts high-temperature steam thermal energy into mechanical energy. It serves as a critical component in industries such as thermal power generation, nuclear energy, and petrochemicals.
Replacing a Thrust Bearing is often treated as a simple maintenance task, but in real industrial equipment it is rarely that simple.
Many bearing problems do not begin after months of operation. They begin on the day the part is installed.
A failing Thrust Bearing rarely goes from normal operation to complete damage in one step. More often, the warnings appear gradually: a little more heat, more noise, rougher running, or a small change in axial position.

A rotating machine is never only about turning speed. Inside the system, axial force, heat, and lubrication conditions are constantly changing.
A machine may run smoothly for a long time and still develop one serious issue: unwanted axial movement. When a shaft shifts in the wrong direction, rotor position becomes unstable, or metal surfaces begin to wear faster than expected, the problem often points to the Thrust Bearing.
